"This seems to be the first book of poems published in Alaska" --Streeter sale VI:3540. The poems are all quite explicitly on Alaskan topics including Chinese laborers, Eskimo maidens, craggy landscapes, and a eulogy to sailors killed by natives at Sitka. The three full-page engravings include the Sitka Custom House, Baranoff Castle, and Child's Glacier. Wickersham 5271. No copies known at auction since the 1969 Streeter sale.
